My name is Justice Otterbacher, and I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The wildlife found here in Michigan influences the artwork I create. In my artwork, I aim to educate people about wildlife and plants, while also encouraging the viewer to consider environmentalism.  The mediums I enjoy working with include various traditional mediums including; watercolor, ink, white charcoal, and various digital medias such as; photoshop, illustrator, and indesign.

My artwork often explores the world of nature. Subjects in my artwork usually include animals and plants found in Michigan. I chose these subjects because I find it essential to care for our environment and be able to educate those around us, so we can better our planet. I’m based in Michigan, and therefore some of my biggest influences on my artwork include the wildlife that is found within the state.
